Little Indian Girl (501c3) is a women, LGBTQIA2S+, and globally Indigenous-led collective spotlighting women who embody revolution through art. By kicking down doors and taking back the mic we amplify our stories until they echo through every corner of the globe.
OUR VISION
Little Indian Girl (501c3) is a women, LGBTQIA2S+, and globally Indigenous-led collective of artists, activists, and community leaders committed to using storytelling — in all its forms — as a method of social change.
We strive to uplift disruptive, truth-telling stories and amplify diverse voices from around the world in the climate and social justice movements.
We tell stories of women and water, creation, ancient peoples of the land, lost languages, music and dance, food sovereignty, decolonization, and land and water protection. We tell folk tales, animal tales, stories of spirits across cultures, stories of the moon and her worship; stories that make our cultures and traditions so incredibly rich.
With our films, music, podcasts, books, and workshops, our goal isn’t only to create, it’s to enact social change and be a voice that weaves cultural stories into pop culture that enters the mainstream. We are looking to build systems to not only shift the conversation but the way the conversation is created and who is creating it.
The vision of this collective is to uplift women and Indigenous storytellers; to create safe spaces for women to be mentored, to be given access, to be on set, in studios, and on stage; to fund meaningful stories, and to have more of us in the rooms where decisions are made. With a mentorship program, a support system is built in from the beginning, allowing us to lift up the next generation of storytellers and give them the access many of us never had.
OUR PURPOSE
To empower female-identifying and Indigenous creators, activists, land defenders, and future leaders committed to using storytelling — in all its forms — as a method of social change.
OUR VISION

OUR MISSION
